The Beaufort Pirate Invasion Reenacts Historical Event
August 12th and 13th, 2016
Get in touch with your inner pirate and enjoy two full days of piratical fun at The Beaufort Pirate Invasion.
This annual event highlights the rich history of pirates and privateers that have pillaged and plundered along the east coast. Celebrate Beaufort’s victory when Beaufort comes alive with living history demonstrations, sword fighting, cannon firing, and black powder weapons displays, as well as a mock trial, and hanging.
Visit with the ships surgeon, make baggy wrinkles, tie knots, watch tools forged over a flaming fire, and watch as pirates go about their daily routines preparing meals, making ropes and cleaning weapons.
